My page has more than one grid displayed, in a series under each other.  I have my grid width set [width:900] for all grids.  There is a different number of coulmns in each grid.    The grids end up with different widths and does not look good on the page.

I want all the grids on the page to have the same width.  It would be ok to have a horizontal scroll bar to access grids coulmns,  but I need to have the grids always to have the same width.

The documentation states that all widths are in pixel.   Is there a way to force a width and let the columns adjust to fit that width?

Thanks,

Jim

Hello,

Yes you have right - this is one of the reasons that I have moved to UI Theme roller and changed tottaly the concept of the grid in 3.5. In 3.5 you will not have such problems - moreover if you set 900px width it is 900px regradeless of the column width.

Tony,

Do you have a ETA when will 3.5 be available?

Thanks,

Jim

3.5 Alpha 3 is available now and seems very solid, so far as I have tested - I'm using a fair amount of the 3.5 feature/functionality and am happy that I made the decision in lieu of 3.4.
