jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hi

I am using jqgrid.setRowData method to set custom html dropdown in a jqgrid cell.Can it be made read only like jqgrid cells behaves when edittype is select ?

For example,if a jqgrid cell has edittype as select ,when we try to edit it ,it becomes a dropdown ,after selecting some value from dropdown ,we do a tab,jqgrid cell looks like a read only label .CAn same feature be applied to a custom html dropdown in a jqgrid cell .

grid.setRowData(selectedRow, { comtype: '<select onChange="EnableDropDown(this)";><option value="Hard">Hard</option></select>'
