Hy,

I creat a add in a form but in this form i want to place a generate password, i have the function for do this in php but i dont say how insert this value in my add form.

Hello,

We have a lot of solutions.

The one that I first think is to use onInitializeForm (called only once)

If you have a field hat is editable (colModel - name - myname) then

using this event you can add a button behind the field like this

$("<input type='button'....>").insertAfter("#myname");
