All,

  Is it possible to select a row by pressing down arrow. For e.g. a grid with 10 rows, once the user selected 1st row he should be able to move to 4th (or any other row) by just pressing down arrow key (3 times). I am not able to achieve this. Is there any option to enable the same. We can visualize this as moving from one cell to other in a XL sheet.

 If it is not currently supported, is there a roadmap for supporting this feature.

Thanks,

Veerabahu

Hello,

Currently this is partial supported.

Just set cellEdit to true whitout any editable column and you will have this functionality.

It is planed for 3.6 release

We tried this solution, but when we set cellEdit to true, we get an exception when clicking on a row.

Object doesn't support this property or method

e.stopPropogation()…

Any thoughts on a workaround or alternate solution until 3.6?

Thanks!

Hello,

It seems that you do not included the celledit module when you download the grid. See this section in the documentation on what you should include when using this module.

Regards

Tony
