Hello!
I have a problem when using the arrow keys to navigate.
Key navigation before cell edit in IE = OK
Key navigation before cell edit in Firefox = OK
Key navigation after cell edit in IE = does not work
Key navigation after cell edit in Firefox = OK
In other words, when using the arrow keys in IE after I have edited a cell, it is stuck in the editing cell. It goes from being an edited cell to just being highlighted and I cannot use the arrow keys to move around. If I then click in another non editable cell, the key navigation in IE works again.
Any idea, why this is happening?
I do not have this problem with Firefox.
Regards
Nisse

Hello,
Posting the code is recommended (including the head section). Just to say this does not work will not help.
Also which version of jqGrid is used?

To examplify;
I use your demo
http://trirand.com/jqgrid/jqgrid.html
New in version 3.3 >> Cell editing
That is, edit a cell one at the time (not a row at the time). Everything looks the same codewise except for one thing
Your sample uses:
cellsubmit: 'clientArray'
And my local sample uses:
cellsubmit: 'remote'
If I change my local sample from
cellsubmit: 'remote'
to
cellsubmit: 'clientArray'
the key navigation in IE works after saving the changes in a cell. But if I change the code back to
cellsubmit: 'remote'
the problem comes back, ie the cursor gets "stuck" in the cell and will not move.
Please advise

Nisse

Hello,
Check what you post and what is the response from server.
In order to be a easy point to existing file in the server (which do nothing - i.e empty existing file)

Hi Tony,
I've exactly the same problem as mentioned above.
I'm using the latest version of JQGrid.
I examined the post & response.
With IE everething seems to be fine, even the server side process => the cell saved successfully.
The response is : 'id:<rowId_of_the_saved_row>'.
Actually, I 've tried more responses: nothing, 'Ok' but the grid always lost the focus after the save the event in IE. (In FF everything ok)
If I click on the grid after the save, it starts to work again.
Do you have any idea, what could be the problem?
Thanks in advance, L.

Try upgrading to the latest version of the jquery.bgiframe.js library. This fixed a number of bugs for me, including this one.
