Dear members,
Currently I am working on a admin panel for a website.
A few weeks ago jqGrid caught my eye for handling variables.
The only problem was that I couldn't find a way to ley my jqGrid communicate with the MySQL databse.
After a while I found something on the internet that had the abbilities to do that. But this only worked for the master Grid.
And I couldn't get it to work on the grid as subgrid.
Now I want to start from the beginning. Can someone explain me how I can let the jqGrid with a grid as subGrid communicate with the database, with the functions: add, remove, edit.
Or is there anything in the documentation about writing to the database with PHP or something like that?
Can't really find it.
The idea is the following:
------------------
+ Grid value
------------------
- Grid value
------------------
subgrid value
----------------
subgrid value
----------------
add|remove
------------------
add|remove|edit
Website is: HTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript. With a MySQL database.
Thanks,
Blalien

Hello,
You can look into the demo there is such Example:
Advanced => Grid as Subgrid
And you will have a idea how to do this.
