jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

We really like jqgrid 3.8.2 and we're using it very actively. However, we discovered some unexplained behavior.

Situation is this. We have a single grid with grouping turned on. The key is not the group column but another one in the grid (kept hidden).

We find that we delete all the rows (except one, the blank record; see attached screen shot 2041) associated with a particular group using grid.delRowData() and add a new set of rows with the same group value and we repeat the same process couple of time then some of the rows start getting duplicated even though I deleted them before adding new rows with the same group value and same key.

Also, when I click on the duplicated row then the other duplicate gets selected and not the one I clicked on.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
