Internet Explorer 7 and Search Filter

I am using the search option from the Navgrid 'pager' and I have a problem that if I change the column I want to search on the filter dropdown no longer works. I pulled up the examples on the demo site and the same thing happens there also. I was wondering if anyone else has run across this problem?
