Inline editing clientSide

Hi, I'd need to have inline editing of the grid working with client-side data, because I'm using a custom mechanism to communicate with the server. I am having issues because it looks like inline editing for most of its stuff expects an editurl to be specified in the grid configuration.

What I'd like to do is simply replace the way the grid would communicate with the server with my custom mechanism. For example, the saveRow method doesn't let me supply a function to call instead of a url to which to post the edited data.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
