jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

I haven't used a import configuration option, but looking at the xml in examples (New in version 3.4->Import Configuration from XML) there are olso row data.

1. How many times is configurtion loaded into grid? What I expect is that configuration is loaded once(during the whole page load) and then user clicks into pager buttons and only row data is imported. Does it works(or can work) in this way?

2. What if there is event inside:

ex: afterEditCell: function (id,name,val,iRow,iCol){
  if(name=='data') {
  $("#" + id + "_data","#grid_table").datepicker({dateFormat:"yy-mm-dd"});
  }

Can it be also imported?
