jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hi,

In grid.base.js's addXmlData is written

                        if(!ts.p.xmlReader.repeatitems) {f = reader(frd);}

...

                        if( (idn+"").indexOf("[") === -1 ) {
                                if (f.length) {
                                        getId = function( trow, k) {return $(idn,trow).text() || k;};
                                } else {
                                        getId = function( trow, k) {return $(ts.p.xmlReader.cell,trow).eq(idn).text() || k;};
                                }

What is an example of the else case? Because then f.length is 0, so repeatitems is true, and the idn must be an attribute.
