jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

I think this may not be a jqgrid error, but rather an IE thing !  could you please share your wisdom though>?  I know microsoft won't .   This grid works pretty great in all browsers , but IE7, and I am loading for content into a cell this html:

It works in all browsers except IE !!!!!   it's the flash audioplayer from wordpress.
 Please help me and when I can get the site up, and get paid, I promise to shoot the 25$ if you can help me 
pretty quick? ( a couple days?)  

In IE, I am getting instead of the player, a n empty square.   Then I did the whole uninstall flash player, reinstall flash player thing, 
 to the letter as per a ms guy, and now in IE I 'm getting a larger empty square.  
 Any wisdom on this?> thanks
