How to start the grid minimized

Hello!
Is there a way to start the grid minimized? like when you click on the title bar button and it hides the grid !
I have 3 grids on the same page and i want to show all of them minimized and let the user to decide wich one to open.
i tryed to use : $(".ui-jqgrid-titlebar-close", "#list").click() and $('#list').jqgrid_hideshow(); but with on success.
