Dear all,

I have fields in jqGrid as combo box. the loading time of these combo box is too long for me.

Could you please guide me how to populate my searchoptions:dataUrl selectbox with Json?

this is my colModel:

{name:'brand' , index:'brand', width:90, editable:true, editoptions:{size:15}, editrules:{required:true}, formoptions:{elmprefix:"(*)"}, sortable:true, stype:'select', search:true, searchoptions:{dataUrl:'comboboxbrand.php'}}

Hello,

As per documentation:

when using dataUrl, the grid expects html.

Please read it brefore posting.

Dear Tony,

I have problem here, I checked loading time of my grid with firebug.

Loading time of jqgrid is OK, but loading time of dropdown toolbar searching feature is take about 5 seconds to open.

May be you have a better solution for me. Could you help me please?
