Hi,
I have a grid which shows group permissions. I'm initializing the grid when I load the page and I have a function which triggers reloadGrid. But now I have the problem to pass the groupID to jqgrid in order to load the permissions of that group. What is the best way for passing variables to the grid and having them posted to the servlet (both list and edit urls) ?

Hello,
You can pass parameter to the grid using postData parameter something like this:
(see docs)
$("#mygrid").jqGrid('setGridParam',{postData:{groupID:'mygroup'}}).trigger("reloadGrid");
