The examples always show how to fill a dynamic select with xml data.

Do you have an example with json_encoded data ?

I found myself:

“value1:value1;value2:value2;value3:value3″

but in my select I see

value1

value2

value3″

I look for the data like this:

var manufacturers= $.ajax(
        {url:'searchManufacturers.php',
        async:false
        }).responseText;

Am i wrong ?

Hello,

Displaying dynamic select does not have to do with xml or json data. You should provide valid html select element - if I understand right the problem

Hello,

Really not understand what you try to do.

Post your entry code to see what you have in mind.

var manufacturers= $.ajax(
        {url:'searchManufacturers.php',
        async:false
        }).responseText;

alert(manufacturers) gives me:

“value1:value1;value2:value2;value3:value3″

in the grid I have this line:

editoptions:{ value: manufacturers},

in the grid, when I click the manufacturer field, I see:

value1

value2

value3"      <----------- why this quote ?
