hello,
My grid is shrinktofit = true (by default). and I don't set the width of the grid, so it's decided by the total column width.
I use:
jQuery("#list3").jqGrid('hideCol',["testcolumn"]);
Yes, the column is hidden, but the width of the grid is no changed, and left a blank there......
I see the wiki, it says so.
But why? After the column is hidden, the left blank is not good looking.

Thanks. Maybe we can add a second parameter to this method which do this in case shrinkToFit is true.
