Hi All,
when we upgraded from 3.8 to 4.0 we seemded to loose our grid stateoptions.
This happened to all our grids across the site.
We were declaring the gridstate as this:

I think than you're talking about this plugin :
http://plugins.jquery.com/proj.....QGridState
I don't think than this Plugin is really supported by Tony (JqGrid). Columns metadata are correctly stored.
I think than new JqGrid works for other parameters differently and the Plugin JqGridState has not been released since July 2010.
Two ways :
- you (plugin developper, we, etc.) correct the plugin
- Tony take time to implement fully Plugin with these features
I wrote a post to do that…
EDIT : using JqGrid 4.1.2 : all works except filters 🙂 try it 😉
