Hello,

I've noticed that Firefox4 works only with the new version of jqGrid. So, I've installed 4.0.   Before upgrade, I was using 3.7.2 and everything was fine.

After upgrade, the grid is shown with the right columns names with the message, in the center of the grid, "undefined"… I can't figure what's happening… The json datas used to build the grid are the same, I have keep the same configuration parameters.

I've read docs and I haven't noticed any backward compatibilty info.

Does anyone have an idea about what's happening

Thanks for your help !

After further investigations with firebug.

Json datas seems correcty parsed : the addJSONData function is called and the line 1314  $("#"+$.jgrid.jqID(ts.p.id)+" tbody:first").append(rowData.join('')); is executed. The selector $("#"+$.jgrid.jqID(ts.p.id)+" tbody:first") holds the right dom element for the grid. At this time "undefined" is already shown.

This command executed, the DOM is correcty updated : I can see my datas in children of grid's tbody element…. but rows remains invisible, only "undefined" is shown.

[SOLVED] jqGrid 4.0 requires local file inclusion. I've added the locale script before loading jqGrid... now everythings is fine.
