I use it to delete records:

jQuery("#list").jqGrid('delGridRow',id,{reloadAfterSubmit:false, url:'editing.php', width: 400});

How can I get the error message from file editing.php?

I have the problem that there are records that are removed from the grid but not in the table and I can not get the error.

Any idea to get the errors from the server? ..thanks

Use the afterSubmit event /jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:form_editing you can find code sample on this forum by searching, use the afterSubmit as keyword.
