jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

I do that with something like this:

jQuery("#tableSalesBoard").jqGrid({

caption: caption,

url: url,

colNames: colNames,

colModel: colModel

.....

.....

})

/***** File: grid_sales.php *****/

<script type="text/javascript">

var  caption = "Sales";

var url = "sales.php";

var colNames = ['Date', 'Item', 'Amount'];

var colModel = [... options for this columns...] ;

</script>

<script type="text/javascript" src="grid.js"></script>

And you can set this configuration in another file, eg: grid_customers.php, and then include "grid.js". Of course, the file in var url must give the appropriate resultset.
