Form to Grid - Select, Get the label instead of value

Hi, First off thanks for this awesome work

So, I'm using Form to Grid function and my form have select html controls that looks like this:

<option value="0">--Select--</option>

</select>

When Form pass to Grid it take the value option, but i need the label of the option.

How can I validate if field is a select then get text instead of value.

$.each(fields, function(i, field){
griddata[field.name] = field.value;
});
