Hi,
I'd like to have an extra dialog form that would come up before the editGridRow (new) dialog when adding a new row.
I'd like this to look just like the jqGrid dialogs but to have a title, a bit of explanatory text and then 2 buttons - "Proceed to Add New" and "Do something else"
I found this thread
http://www.trirand.com/blog/?p.....8;search=1
which gave some clues to how to achieve this - using the createModal and viewModal functions in grid.formedit.js but to be honest I'm a little bit lost on what to do with them - I'm a bit of a javascript novice I'm afraid.
Could anyone help set me straight on what I'd need to do to produce this intermediary dialog that has the same look and feel as the jqGrid ones - or point me to any examples.
As always any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Romyn

Hello,
I have modified the info_dialog function which simplify this process. The function will be ready for 3.6 release and will have only two buttons Ok and Cancel, where you can apply a callbacks to them.
By the way if you use jQuery UI you can use a dialog widget.
Regards
Tony
