When you 'enter' a value in cellEdit mode, on a page scrolled down, it resets/pushes the page to the top....

Has anyone worked around this?

Is this a bug? or a setting?

Thanks,

tim

Hello,

If you trigger("reloadGrid") after save this is a expected behaviour.

Hi Tony,

I'm using v36 + cellEdit + treegrid. I have no reference to trigger('reloadGrid').

I expand out my treegrid until I have a scollbar in the browser. Scoll to the bottom then select a cell which pushes the page up to the top.

Hello,

Thanks. I will check this, but the more real solution will be if you have a link to the problem

Best Regards

Tony

Here you go!

http://www.blackstag.com/jqGri.....6-example1

As I said open up the first tree, scroll down, open the second tree, then again scroll to the bottom, then select a cell.

(don't worry about the last “,” in the json data (it shouldn't impact the jumping)).

tim

[Edit] Also when looking at this example – do you notcie the 1 pixel shift/offset (column headers verses cell position)  when selecting a cell within the only the first row ?  When shrinktofit = true + enough columns, that 1 pixel shift enables the browsers horizontal scroll bar which is pretty ugly. Can this be fixed too ?

Thanks again,

tim

Hello,

Thanks tim. The second bug will be easy to fix with the css.

Will check what causes this jumping.

Best Regards

Tony

Hello tim,

For the jumping - I found the reason. The fix will be NOT in 3.6 release. We need to do some other major changes in order to fix this.

As for the second the problem is fixed.

Thanks

Hi Tony,

Is this still on your list to fix? In 3.62?

Thanks,

tim

Hello,

If you read my previous post you see not in 3.6 release - in this case I mean it will be in 3.7 - sorry.

We should do a lot of other things.

Regards

Tony
