Hi,

I have the following code:

jQuery("#grid_Primaria").jqGrid({
            ...
            colNames: ['Descripcion','AlumnadoA', 'GruposA', 'AlumnadoB','GruposB', 'AlumnadoD','GruposB','Identificador','Total','Id_Aula'],
            colModel: [
              { name:'Descripcion',index: '1',width:300,  align:'center' },
              { name:'AlumnadoA', index: '2',width:120, editable: true, align: 'center', editoptions:{style:'text-align: center;',size:6,maxlength: 5,onchange: "calculaTotal(id);",onfocus:"obtenerValor(id);"} },
            ....
             And those events on red, work fine on FireFox but not in IExplorer.

I would appreciate any help or information about it,

Thankyou very much¡¡¡¡

Hello,

What is the error what IE report?

I'm very interested on what id value is (the parameter passed to the events)?

Is the value id  set when the function lunches?

You can just make alert(id) in the first line of these functions.

Best regards

Tony

Hello Tony,

First of all, congratulations for your job. The grid is a great tool.

Here's the thing.

obtenerValor(id),calculaTotal(id)--> id is the row, column id of the cell (1_ColumnName);

In IE, it just ignores those events. I hava a temporary solution which is this one, what do you think about it? Is it correct?

//check which browser, and bind change and focus events to all text on the grid
     if (jQuery.browser.msie)
     {
         jQuery("input[type=text]").bind("change",function (evnt){
             calculaTotal (evnt.target.id);
         });

         jQuery("input[type=text]").bind("focus",function (evnt){
             obtenerValor (evnt.target.id);
         });

     }

Thanks for your help¡¡¡
