Hi There,
I've used the editable flag to setup some columns that are editable and others that are not. And likewise I've used the hidden flag to setup some columns that are visible and others that are not. Additionally, in my navigator options I've set view to true.
Note: just because a column is visible (ie: hidden: false), doesn't mean it's editable (ie: editable: false)
However, when I view the row in a view modal popup, the column is not visible. I've noticed this behavior in 3.5.3 and 3.6 beta and taking a peak at the viewGridRow function in 3.6 beta, this is indeed true. A column must be editable to be visible in the modal popup.
My questions are:
1. why must a column be editable to be visible on the view modal popup? Any chance this is a bug?
2. are there any workarounds to make a column that is not editable become visible on a view modal popup?
Thanks,
- Andrew
