I am using cell edit mode when adding a new row to grid, adding data to individual cells one at a time. After the data is saved client side I use the Navigator to perform inline edit to edit row data at once.

When I try to edit the row data inline and I am currently in an editable cell, it displays the markup of the editable cell as the cell content

Is it possible to disable inline edit in this case and enable only when non-editable cell of the row is selected?

Hello,

I suggest you to use only inline edit or cell edit. Using both at the same time will cause unexpected results.

Regards
