jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hi,

I am trying to create a simple dropdown for customer that would be used to load a jqrid for reservations.

Found documentation on http://www.trirand.com/jqgridw....._searching

but not sure about the format.. Here I am trying to load customers.json and

$.getJSON("/customers.json", {}, function(data){

          ... populate #customer with options

         ... use customer selection to pass to reservation jqrid as a search param.
 });
