Is it possible to define a custom add form for adding rows?

I have a custom logic that i need to perform, while adding new data.

eg: on selection of a Combo box value, i would like to change the no of form fields presented to the user

any ideas?

Hello,

Not sure what you mean with custom add form. Also you can have what you want form (I mean construct your ownn) and conect this form with the grid.

Best Regards

heres what i want to do. i have a form with 3 input fields

1. Combo Box [A,B] values

2. Text Field A

3 Text Field B

I want that if A is selected from combo box Text Field A remains visible and if B then TextField B.

How do you do that with form that appears on clicking the 'Add Button' on the pager.

Take a look in the docs under "New in version 3.2">>Custom Button and Forms

This works for my need. Although I would have liked to find out how to get this custom form in the modal window.

But then again, there is a difference between need and desire 😉

Hello,

The easy way is to use UI dialog to have this.
