Any suggestions on how I can control the positioning of the info_dialog that is created when an editrule fails during inline (row) editing?
I have numerous grids on the page so sometimes a user is using one scrolled down, but the dialog that pops up is set to a fixed left:250, top:170 which is therefore sometimes not in the visible area of the scrolled page. I see where the info_dialog function can take modalopt to override, but I haven't found where I could "hook" in to do this.
I solved a similar problem with form editing where I needed to control the placement of the form, but because of the onInitializeForm event I was able to adjust the position there before it displayed. However it seems the info_dialog isn't created for me to adjust until after the user enters invalid info and at that time, I don't know how to get at it to affect positioning before it displays.
Hoping to get some idea I'm not yet seeing.
Thanks,
Lynn

I hate to bump an old question, but could anyone give me an example of how to do the positioning of the dialog? Apparently there are some events I can hook into, but I'm not clear on exactly what I'm manipulating and which events are exposed. I assume it's the CSS that I'm manipulating.
I'm actually doing cell editing for my grid rather than row editing if that makes any difference.

Hello,
All the form dialogs can be positinied with left and top property.
The info_dialog that appper in cell editing currently can not be positioned dynamically.
