Jquery 1.3.1
JqGrid 3.4.4
My table has three sortable columns each of these has a small icon on the left. When I click the column name data are sorted correctly and the sort icon appears on the right.
When I click the same column data are sorted but the left icon disappears.
I tried to add the left icon either in ColNames or setLabel but I have the same result.

Hello Corrado,
Since you use 3.4.x -
There are two classes defined in the options of the grid
sortclass: "grid_sort",
resizeclass: "grid_resize",
Use sortclass to do what you want.
