For professional UI suites for Java Script and PHP visit us at our commercial products site - guriddo.net - by the very same guys that created jqGrid.
Thanks Tony, I foudn it, for those who have the same question:
.navGrid('#myPager',
{ refresh: true, edit: false, add: false, del: false, search: false }, //options
{height: 280, width: 500,
closeAfterEdit: true
}, // edit options
{height: 280, width: 500,
closeAfterAdd: true
}, // add options
{}, // del options
{} // search options

Thanks you saved me some time. The documentation is good, but this forum provides a quick way to find answers to what are common questions. I am very pleased with the support from Tony (he is the creator right?), but it is great to have an active forum with real code examples.
I have the datepicker working in my grid because of a prior post and your post.

Yes Tony is “the man”, one of the main reasons for using this grid in our CRM web-app is because of great support. Keep up the great work Tony.
