Is it a must to use separator?

I tried to use editrules:{date:true}, datefmt:'ymd'  but the it's always block input like '20100101'.

I notice that it is related to the checkDate(format, value) function so I do some test on the js console.

It seems that it only accept format with separator (e.g. Y-m-d, Y/m/d). Anyway to get around this??

Hello,

Yes this is partial true. The CheckDate function accepts /,-,and . as separators.

You can write your own validator. See docs.
