Cell validation problem

Hello

I need to validate cell data before saving (in client side) for example compare with another field, check if it's a correct time etc. I found beforeSaveCell function, but I don't know where to put it.

For editing row I'm using:

onSelectRow: function(id ){
                                         if(id && id!=lastsel2 ){
                                                            jQuery('#rank').restoreRow(lastsel2);
                                                            jQuery('#rank').editRow(id,true,null, success_edit,null,null, after_save);
                                                            lastsel2=id;
                                    }

Hello,

What you use actually - cell editing or inline editing? Please, make the diffrence (beforeSaveCell is a event in cell editing, but you use code for inline editing - editRow.)

Correct I'm using inline editing. And I want to validate cell data before saving. How can I do it?
