jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Is it possible in jqGrid to drag a cell from table A and drop it onto a cell in table B? I know its fairly easy to drag a row from table A and add it to table B - even if cell level drag-drop isn't possible, would it be at least possible to drag a row from table A and drop it onto a row in table B (as opposed to adding it to the table)? Ultimately I would like to update a cell/row in table B with data dragged from table A.
