jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hello guys,

I tried to find out if I can realize a kind of a table in my web application with jqGrid, but didn't succeed. The table I want to realize has following features:

• I have a base entry which can have (but do not have to) belonging entries → Realizable by a subGrid.

• If a entry does not have belonging entires, the user should not see the expanding plus. Only found the feature for dynamical disabling of the subGrid for the whole table: jQuery("#grid_id").hideCol('subgrid'); → But didn't found it for the only one entry in the table.

• The column names of the base grid are identical to the names of the subGrid. So I don't want to show the subGrid column names again → Didn't found how to disable the subGrid Header layer.

• And the last, not so important feature: replaceable expansion symbol for the subGrid (currently the plus symbol) → Don't know if it is changeable for only one table (the other tables should keep the original symbol).

Are there any possibilities to realize this?
