Hi,

if there is a blank blank value in the database (not null) IE 6 browser does not show cell borders, if the value is NULL it shows the cell borders. BTW Firefox displayed the broders regardless.

Any advise on what i should be doing

here is the code: http://pastie.org/797059

Regards,

Shah

Hi Shah

I noticed a similar issue in IE8 when you have padded empty fields.

I was seeing this on a field that was 40 characters wide but was effectively empty - a simple rtrim (right trim) on the underlying field value when generating the json fixed it. Smile
