jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

I have implemented the following...

SendKeys.SendWait("{ENTER}");

And this will press enter... but it only works in debug mode - using nunit, the browser is brought to the front and you can see what happens.  But when just run, the enter is not being sent.

I looked at;

WebBrowser.Current.ActiveElement.KeyPress('\r');

and I can also run a script if needed... but I am unsure what to call.
