jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Dear all,

Could anybody guide me how to customize edit button with asking for superuser permission before?

If user click edit button, application will ask for supperuser password. if correct, the edit form will appear. if not correct, the edit form will not appear.

I have tried without success, pls somebody help me
