jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Dear all,

I use feature of jqgrid toolbar search. I think if I set

   searchOnEnter: true, the  grid will start to search when the enter key pressed

   searchOnEnter: false, the grid will start to search when any key pressed

But when I implemented jquery autocomplete to jqgrid, I want to change searchOnEnter setting based on click/change event on toolbar search, so when I use autocomplete,the grid will automatically do searching.

How should I do to do this?
