is there a option for always keeping a selected row in the grid ?

I don't think there is as I wanted to do this myself recently, and had to write code for it.

Basically I maintain an array of selected ids using the onSelectRow method, then restore them by hooking into the loadComplete event and calling the setSelection method for each id in the array.
