Hello,

Does anyone know which parameter allows you to line up the header columns with the data in the grid?  My grid data is not lining up with the headers.

Thanks

Thanks for the response.  But I think I may have phrased my question incorrectly.  It's my grid columns that are not lining up with the header columns.

Thanks

Alignmenmt of columns data are defiled with align parameter of the colModelm default value is 'left'. The alignment of column headers can not set with respect of some jqGrid parameters, but in my answer which I posted you before I described how it can be done.

If you mean some more with "lining up" as alignment you should describe what you want in other words.

Regards
Oleg

Thanks Oleg.

What's happening is the grid cells are not ligned with the header row at the top of the grid.  For instance, I can adjust the width of each column in the header row with my mouse pointer, but the rest of the cells in the column don't adjust, Just the header.

Sorry if I am not being clear.

jqGrid, like Excel for example, supports column width which is the same for the same cells and the header. If you adjust the column width with respect of the mouse you change the width for the whole column: headers and cells. Its the only behavior supported in jqGrid. What you suggest seems for me, that the column header will be over the next column and the look of the whole grid after the changed column will be wrong.

Oleg
