Hello,
i've a jqgrid with inline editing. But i can only save the edited Data when the User clicks enter or save.
If the User edit the whole row an then clicked on an other row all changes will be lost. How can i say the User that he shoul save first or how can i save when the User clicks on an other Row ?

Try this:
$('#my_grid').jqGrid({
...
onSelectRow: function(row_id){
$('#my_grid').jqGrid('saveRow',lastsel);
$('#my_grid').jqGrid('editRow',row_id,true);
lastsel=row_id;
},
...
});
This won't save the data when you exit the row, but it will when you click on a different row.
