I see that rowheight has been phased out as of 1.2.  How do I force the row height to be more than one line?  For example, if I have a mailing address of 3 lines (name, addr, city+state+zip), and I don't want them in individual fields, or stretched out, I want it as a nice neat block.

Is there a way to send the row height, either in pixels or in lines?

Thx,

Tac

Hello,

You can use Either setCell method and/or afterInsertRow to set the height dynamically.

Hi,

I found this post as I was searching on how to get multi-line data into a grid. I was able to resize the rows as per Tony's suggestion, but the data is still one line after I resized the row, with a bunch of whitespace below it. Does anyone know how to tell jqgrid to allow line breaks?

Thanks,

James
