Using version 3.4.4 I want to set the editData when initializing the grid, as the data I want to add never changes once the grid is defined. I tried this but it does not work; does not add the data posted:
{ refresh: true, edit: true, add: true, del: true, search: false }, //options
{height: 575, width: 800,
reloadAfterSubmit: true,
modal: true,
processData: 'Updating the Complaint...',
editCaption: 'Edit a Complaint',
editData: moreData,
moreData looks like this:
{ accountId: 111, primaryContact: 27478 }
What I eneded up doing is this, which works, but I am not sure if this is what I am supposed to do:
{ refresh: true, edit: true, add: true, del: true, search: false }, //options
{height: 575, width: 800,
reloadAfterSubmit: true,
modal: true,
processData: 'Updating the Complaint...',
editCaption: 'Edit a Complaint',
onclickSubmit: function(eparms) {
return moreData;
},
The reason I ask about the last way fo doing it, which does work, is that my data is static and does not need to be set every time during clicking submit on formEdit.

Hello,
If this is static data use the first approach, if dynamic use the second one.
