But what I want is to add the buttons on the top bar of the grid not the botton bar
I found this:

Hello,
You can add any content on the top toolbar, but if you want to be compatible with the buttons on the pager - yes this is the solution.
You may have a look into the demo
New in version 3.1 => Toolbars and userdata
in order to see haw you can add any content.
