add, edit delete in navigator?

Hi guys

I'm trying to show the add, edit delete icons on the navigator,

Below are the codes,

Unfortunately it doesn't show up?

What is missing here?

Any help please.

Okay I changed the codes into these below, using the chaining method.

But the add, edit and delete is not showing in the navigator still?

hey, I think the code to insert,update,delete must be write in example.php file. can anybody give a simple example of example.php code !!!

But we need to display the Add, Edit and Delete Icons first on the Navigator.

If you use

jQuery("#list").jqGrid('navGrid','#pager',{parameters},prmEdit, prmAdd, prmDel, prmSearch, prmView);

you should define the variables parameters, prmEdit, prmAdd, prmDel, prmSearch, prmView before. If you want to use the standard settings you can just use

jQuery("#list").jqGrid('navGrid','#pager');

have u already download jqgrid demo ??? I suggest u to download it first…., I already download jqgrid_demo3.8 but not working properly on my pc, then I download jqgrid_demo3.6 and thats work fine …. but still can't doing crud my data on mysql. but dont worry… this is example of doing crud using jqgrid here.

about your blank screen...I worried about some jquery not yet include on your script...

Sorry, but I can't follow you. I don't use PHP, so I don't need to download jqgrid_demo3.8. You asked to help you to display the Add, Edit and Delete Icons first on the Navigator. I explain you your error.

You wrote about some my (?) blank screen and about my (???) scripts. I can't understand what you mean.

If you found some bugs in jqGrid or in the some demos you should post it as the bug report to Tony (the developer of jqGrid) in the corresponding part of the forum instead of writing you question in the "Help" part of the forum and ask anybody from the community to help you.
