Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyobody knows how to add a custom element to JQgrid's toolbar? I know how to add a custom button to the toolbar:
jQuery("#Somegrid").jqGrid('navButtonAdd', '#Somegrid_pager', { caption: "Custom Button",
onClickButton: function() {
alert("Custom button clicked");
}
});
but I'm interested in adding a checkbox to the toolbar for toggling the search (return results based on the status of the checkbox).
Any help would be appreciated.
Vas.

I suggest that you use the settings like
instead. The implemention of the checkbox in the searching toolbar is a nice idea, but the implementation will be not so simple because you will have to implement 3-state combobox. It is not very simple.
Look at the last demo from my this old answer. Probably it will be helpful for you.
Best regards
Oleg
