Hi!

How can I abort a cell Edit?

I want to check something on a Row and if a case applies I want to abort Cell edit or continue ...

I tried using the beforeEditCell but returning false In this function does not abort Cell Edit. If if

immediatly use restoreCell in the beforeEditCell the grid still posts stuff to the server.

Greetings, Hannes

Hello,

A lot of solutins here, but IMHO the elegent one is to use beforeSelectRow - if this event return false the selection is not performed.

Another solution is to add a class 'not-editable-cell' to this cell using a setCell method

Best Regards

Tony
