jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hello,

I think a big problem of jqgrid is the still unsolved problem of column width.

For some time I am looking for a way to autosize a column's width of the grid depending on its content … without any success.

In the forum I found a topic, written by gseroul ca. 1,5 years before. He described exactly the same problem, which I actually have.  

Now, let me ask once again for suche a standard feature …

It would really be nice, if we – I guess that I am surely not the only one, who has this problem and is waiting for the one and only feature – could have an AUTOSIZE for column widths.
